Our History

It all started when…

Karen Drelick founded Rejuvenations Professional Massage in January 2000. She operated out of a 9’x12’ changing room at a local karate school until 2001 when she doubled her office space by subletting out of a physical therapy practice in Portsmouth.

Operating out of a medical professional office gave Karen the ability to educate physicians to the benefits of massage therapy for their patients. One year later, Karen’s clientele had grown enough to necessitate even more space.

Karen made the move to Stratham in April of 2003. She had a two-room office space that was perfect for a waiting area/office and a treatment room. Her client base from physicians was steadily growing, but she still felt something was missing. She wanted to incorporate physical therapy into her practice.

In January of 2004 Karen expanded her office space and practice, adding PT services. She changed the name to Rejuvenations Professional Massage & Physical Therapy, LLC. 

However, dealing with insurance companies proved more demanding and time consuming than expected. Karen found her focus turning more to administration and away from client care. 

In 2005 Karen reassessed the business and decided to put the old adage of “Do one thing and do it well” into practice. She reorganized Rejuvenations to focus solely on massage.

Over the next 13 years Rejuvenations was recognized as an outstanding practice in many ways, receiving many awards and accolades.

In October 2017 Rejuvenations moved to One Hampton Road to provide more space for clients and a growing team of therapists. The suite was renovated to Karen’s specifications, right down to the front desk crafted by her husband from reclaimed wood and antique tiles, and boasts a comfortable and relaxing environment for staff and guests.
